The museum is a privately held enterprise. Open by appointment
only. If you have a special interest group interested in visiting the museum,
please drop us an email. The museum is open to Car Clubs, Hobby Groups,
Senior Groups, and other organizations that have an interest in history,
collectibles, and automobiles. There is also an extensive collection of
16mm films, including the original King Kong, the 1953 version of Titanic,
and the Rocky Horror Picture Show. There is no charge for groups. |

Originally built in the early forties as the Scouting Headquarters
in Marin County, including facilities for the Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts,
Air Scouts and Sea Scouts. The building has been fully reconstructed preserving
its original exterior, and original main room which served as the gymnasium/auditorium
for the Scouts.
